Spring Turkey Hunting at Ohio Whitetail Deer Outfitters

We have some good spring Turkey hunting on the property. At this time of the year, we also hunt mushrooms and do some fishing in the afternoon. We provide a nice lake for you to fish if you want. There is talk of allowing Turkey hunting all day long this year in Ohio. I am not sure if I will allow that. If we run them off the farm when they roost, we do not have them on the farm the next morning. As it is now, they have all day to rest, regroup and go back to their favorite roost trees in the middle of my farms. That makes for high percentage hunting at the crack of dawn the next morning. There is a 2 gobbler limit.

We are charging a flat rate per piece of property. There is a 3 person maximum on each parcel of property. You will have a nice lodge to stay in. You will provide and prepare your own meals. You will provide your Ohio hunting license and Turkey tags and the only people you hunt the property with are your buddies.

North Hunting Lease – 200 acres	$3900 ($1300/person)
South Hunting Lease – 300 acres	$3900 ($1300/person)
Mt. Zion Hunting Lease – 400 acres	$4200 ($1400/person)

You will be shown the property, given a map, some suggestions on the best places in past years, and you are on your own to scout and hunt. This is not a guided hunt. This is good Turkey country and you have the freedom to hunt it as you see fit. This is a 5 day hunt. You will arrive on Sunday, mid morning and get a tour and moved into the lodge. You will hunt Monday – Friday and depart on Saturday around noon. There will be 3 groups sharing the lodge. Each group has private rooms. There is no fishing license required should you decide to fish in our private lake. You will need an Ohio fishing license if you decide to fish in Seneca Lake. You can see the lake from the lodge deck, it’s that close. You could also call and shoot Coyotes; they will sometimes stalk a Turkey hunter that is calling.
