Lease #4 – West Overlook
This lease is approximately 140 acres. It is about 40% pasture and 60% timber and brush. Deer feel quite comfortable here. It would be good for gun or bow, stand or still hunt. There are some big ridges with some beautiful vistas here. This parcel has feeding, bedding, and travel corridors. We just picked up a big shed in March 2007, a big 12 point. Over the years this farm has produced three 12 pointers.
As a hunting guide and outfitter, I am very proud of the fact that of all the clients, friends, and family members I have guided over the years, they ALL have either passed up shots, missed or harvested deer on my managed and protected properties. I have a 100% shooting opportunity record! I started guiding professionally in the late 80’s and as far as I know I was the 1st full time, professional native whitetail outfitter in Ohio. So not trying to blow my own horn, I feel the need to stress my track record as a way of saying I know what I am doing when managing property to produce deer. I know where to place stands to harvest those deer, and this knowledge and experience goes with these leases.
